SO, HOW MUCH DOES
A BRAND COST?

In our experience with various clients and hundreds of diverse projects, the indispensable understanding we strive to immediately establish is: what are the necessary elements of a good brand and how are they different? In addition, which complementary components of a remarkable brand make the most sense for me?

Along these lines, the choice is basically like deciding you need a car. You must have four tires and rims, a steering wheel, brakes, an engine and seats, and a practical car-body to keep the bugs out of your teeth and get to where you need to be fast.

In creating a meaningful brand, positioning, a strong unique selling point (USP) and an authentic narrative to effectively transport your mission – are a must-have.

Whether you are a start-up, a company looking to scale-out or spin-off something like a new division or product: a strong brand provides the platform for immediate identity and credibility, the increasing demands of digital marketing, and eventually trademark requirements to transport your brand promise and value across markets, target audiences and customers.

Positioning Workshop and Creative Brief Development (1 day)

We love to meet with smart people and engage in great conversations. Hence, we’ll come to your location — on-site in your office or at another location — and meet with the relevant stakeholders (5 maximum for effectiveness) to collaborate with your team on the Creative Brief. Once the Creative Brief is agreed upon, your brand positioning is developed which becomes the foundation for the development of your new brand’s purpose, brand strategy and all future communications. And so the story begins with the evolution of your USP, building upon the unique benefits that your brand can offer to the target audience. The Creative Brief is the backbone from which an Elevator Pitch, your website narrative…etc. ties together the value and identity of your brand that people will come to trust and seek out.

The outcome of the Positioning Workshop is finalised by H&H Brand Works and shared with the client via a screen-share presentation, during which we will take into count your feedback and integrate it.

Clients will receive a presentation and Creative Brief as final PDF documents.
02

Elevator pitch derived from the Creative Brief

The core idea and output of the Positioning Workshop is refined down into the Elevator Pitch - the statement that clarifies your mission and why it is important to someone. The Elevator Pitch is typically a 30 second way of explaining what it is your company does and why it matters.

Equally important, the Elevator Pitch is a powerful tool for employees who often use it to confidently describe the mission and value proposition that they play a role in.

H&H Brand Works crafts the Elevator Pitch and presents it to clients via a screen-share online to green the feedback and final alignment.

Clients will receive the Elevator Pitch presentation as a final PDF document.

NOTE: this element is only available in combination with A01 as the Elevator Pitch is derived from the Creative Brief.
03

Vision/Mission/Core Values

Vision / Mission / Core Values are the essential management tools of a company’s DNA and how H&H Brand Works develops the principles and guidelines that define and maintain a lasting company’s strong positioning.

The three building blocks of vision, mission and values, when clearly defined and reinforced, are the guidelines that underpin an organization’s culture and growth. They embolden how employees work with and for your client’s success and how all activities, policies and meaningful decisions are made. Bold brands who can articulate and consistently support their vision, mission and values — across every communication channels like website, storytelling in the press and with influencers, in the small details in sales presentations …etc. — are the brands that work and have staying power.
04

Building a new narrative from the positioning and Vision/Mission/Values

Storytelling is at the heart of our memory, how we humans have evolved, and also central for how we exchange value. H&H Brand Works workshops with founders and your internal culture champion(s) to reaffirm, progress or develop a brand new pivot narrative from which ‘your Why’ is anchored and interwoven across all communications internal and external. After complimentary interviews with company veterans for context, the new narrative will be tested with rookie employees and A/B tested with select focus group. The end product is an ‘About Us’ webpage plus a one-page PDF that covers the Why your employees get out of bed in the morning (i.e. the problem(s) you solve) and why anyone should care, what you do uniquely that no other company does to solve said problem, and how you do it that differentiates your company.

Brand Identity
01

Logo design based on an existing company or brand name

If your company name is the stake in the ground, and your story is the flag waving in the air: your logo is the emblem and confident message upon that flag flying high for all to see, know and appreciate.
Step 1: H&H Brand Works starts by putting into context the nuances and learning from the Creative Brief through to the narrative development exercises and the starting points for a logo.
Step 2: H&H Brand Works develops 2-3 options for a logo and presents it for an interactive discussion and feedback round with client.
Step 3: After careful consideration and review, client selects their leading favorite of logo design.
Step 4: H&H Brand Works takes the preferred logo design, incorporates feedback and then iterates for pre-final presentation online with client team(s).
Step 5: H&H to make final refinements to selected logo design and prepares final artwork files.*
Step 6: Delivery of final file formats (in .png, .svg., .eps…etc.)

Note: Logo development and pricing is based on an existing product or company name. New name development can also be managed by H&H Brand Works as a separate offering; for more information: >> Link

*In the unlikely event that the above-mentioned two logo revision rounds (typically sufficient for new logo development) do not reach the desired result, or new input is provided to alter logo development: further revision rounds can be included to finalise your new logo (at a reduced hourly rate). As we prefer to operate in complete transparency with clients, we share the hours worked on all projects and display the completion percentage on a frequent basis (upon agreement with client lead at the outset of a project, e.g., twice a week, fortnightly…etc.).
02

An A/B survey is created to test responses ...

... and document real-time feedback on the top two logo designs. Using your and H&H Brand Works social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram), we launch an A/B online test to survey the attractiveness and approval of the two preferred logos from Step B01 (logo design). Survey is not designed to be a quantitative result, rather for guidance in discovering what may not be obvious or hidden preferences.

Survey results provided to client as a PDF.

Logo animation including soundtrack with high-quality stock material ...

… from Audio Jungle or similar online stock providers. The new logo is animated in a short sequence (up to 10 seconds in length) and accompanied by a matching sound (from stock material, i.e. ‘sound branding’). This logo animation is ideal for use on the website, in videos, or presentations… etc.

Client receives an HD video file in agreed-upon format.
06

Custom sound branding is also an option as an extension ...

... of logo animation under B05, that replaces original stock sound branding with a specially composed sound element for unique association of your overall brand across all communications. The composition is done by an experienced composer. In addition to the animation variant from B05, a longer sequence is also animated (i.e. ‘Sequence A’ which lasts 5-7 seconds; ‘Sequence B’ which is a maximum of 15 seconds in length). These logo animations are ideal for use on the website, video presentations, social media and multi-media productions… etc.

The client receives an HD video file as the final product and the composed music as a separate audio file. Both in agreed-upon formats.
